Do you know the Hornby ID for "Downside". I am hoping to be able to track down this locomotive and it would help if you could supply me with the ID for it.
Cheers Colin
The loco 'Downside' was made by Hornby in a limited edittion pack of just 2000, 'The Kentish Belle'. Therefor the loco will be hard to find and buy. However specialist model dealer located in Alton, Hampshire may be able to aid people where to purchase or even may have some in stock.

To seal the connection to the cylinder on any one cylindered Mamod is to use the Lubricant oil provided with the set. Also, tighten the brass screw up as far as it will go to avoid coming lose whilst in steam. This will pull the cylinder up against the 2 brass strips and seal the connection.
